Backpacking Adventure (5 Days - 6 Nights)

THE LONG RANGE TRAVERSE & NORTH RIM

Emerge yourself into one of the best back packing experiences in North America. The 2 Nights inn Based and 3 Night Tenting excursion will take you through some of the most scenic yet challenging routes in
Canada. Great views of Western Brook Fjord, Bakers Brook Fjord and Ten Mile Fjords. Moose and Caribou are frequently seen along the plateau.

Itinerary

Day 1

• Arrive to Deer Lake or Deer Lake Airport (YDF)
• Met with your guide and travel to your Accommodations in Gros Morne.
• Evening Dinner with an orientation

Day 2

• Travel to Western Brook Fjord and travel up the fjord by boat to the drop off location
• Today we hike up through the fjord to the plateau and start our trek cross county
• Camping at Little Island Pond our first Night

Day 3 & 4

• Hiking in the mountains for two days before our decent.

Day 5

• Leaving Green Island Pond Campsite Gros Morne Mountain comes into view with a stunning view of ten mile pond
• Descend to the parking lots where we will be picked up and transported to our Accommodations
• Farewell home cooked dinner of fresh sea foods from our boat and veggies from our farm

Day 6

• Departure Day
